Scan bones with Biophilia Intruder

3D NLS method. Scanning was performed using Biophilia Intruder with a software program that allows visualization of all bones, surrounding soft tissue, and lymph nodes. The NLS-research begins with a general-body assessment and proceeds to a detailed assessment of the following body regions: head and neck; trunk and proximal shoulders; pelvis and proximal femur. The study protocol for each anatomical part included the following data: large-scale NLS scans in 3D in 3 mutually transverse planes; ultramicroscan patterns in the region of interest analyzed with spectral entropy. The total time required for the study is approximately 30 minutes.
Bone scan method. Within 2 hours after intravenous injection of 740 Mbk 99mTs-Technephore, bone scans of the skeletal system were performed in anterior and posterior views using a dual-detector gamma camera according to standard methods. Images were captured using a low-energy, high-resolution collimated optical system; whole-body table motion at a speed of 12-16 cm/min. The scanning process takes 15-20 minutes.

Validation of the results of the spectral entropy analysis was performed based on the histological examination of rings received after ring biopsy of bone tissue in the region of interest. Results of spectral entropy analysis were confirmed by histological methods in 99.1% of cases.
The probability of metastatic disease (on bone scan) was assessed based on the location and number of hyperactive lesions, taking into account radiopharmaceutical overfixation within them.
